Doubleword is an inference provider built for the asynchronous and batch end of AI — agents, data pipelines, evaluations, the workloads where throughput matters more than latency. We made the 60-second animated film that carried their relaunch: a single anchor piece used on the homepage, in their launch announcement, and as the hero asset across paid social.
A launch film that repositioned the company. Not a product demo, not a feature walk-through — a piece that introduced who they were, what they stood for, and why the asynchronous-inference thesis matters. The film had to do the heavy lifting on its own: above the fold on the homepage, in the launch post, in investor and customer conversations.
A 60-second animated hero. One continuous piece — no talking heads, no live action — built to land the product idea (infrastructure for the largest volume of tokens) without leaning on jargon. We delivered the master film plus square and vertical cutdowns for LinkedIn and paid social, and a press-ready file for the launch announcement.
Two months end-to-end, brief to delivered master. The craft problem was the obvious one for this category: how do you make an inference API feel like anything? Doubleword’s product is the invisible layer underneath someone else’s AI — tokens flowing through infrastructure most users never see. The film’s job was to give that something a shape, a rhythm, a feeling, in 60 seconds, without resorting to the usual category clichés (glowing brains, neural-net swooshes, abstract data dots).
The other constraint was time. Two months is tight for an animated launch film that has to anchor a brand relaunch — every beat had to earn its place. We held the line by locking the script and storyboard early and treating animation passes as iteration on a fixed structure, not a re-debate of the concept.
Testimonial pending — Doubleword is sending one over.
We worked with Yves on our fundraise + rebrand animation video and honestly couldn't recommend them more. Super collaborative, always quick to turn things around, and they nailed the final product — it really brought our story to life. An all-round great experience.
